SUNRISE and ENERGY-X joint cooperation: a major step towards building a climate neutral EU
Representatives from the EU Horizon 2020 Coordination and Support Actions (CSAs) SUNRISE and ENERGY-X announced their joint cooperation during the 14th European Congress on Catalysis, EuropaCat 2019. The two initiatives will continue to pursue their roadmapping actions until February 2020, when they plan to merge in a new initiative, with a new name.
The 4EU+ Annual Meeting
On 21st-22nd October, the 4EU+ university members from the University of Warsaw, Charles University, Sorbonne University, University of Heidelberg, University of Copenhagen, and the University of Milan will gather in Paris due to the 4EU+ Alliance Annual Meeting. In 1989, deep inside the Ituri Forest, Dr John Hart and radio tracker Nobirabo encountered 2 adult male chimpanzees crouched over the carcass of a radio-collared okapi which had just been killed by a leopard. What happened next is described in a chapter of the new book “Chimpanzee Behaviour: Recent Understandings from Captivity and the Forest”.
