4EU+ Alliance courses
The University of Warsaw students and doctoral candidates can take online or hybrid courses organised by the 4EU+ Alliance universities in the 2023/2024 winter semester. Registration for classes at Charles University in Prague as well as at Sorbonne and the University of Milan is open.
MERGED – Joint Master’s Degree at 4EU+ universities
A new, prestigious programme of Global Environment and Development (MERGED) studies will be open for final-year students and graduates of Bachelor’s degree, active in the field of natural environment and sustainable development. The studies are carried out as part of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters programme.
An opportunity to share online or hybrid courses by UW academic teachers
As part of the 4EU+ educational collaboration, UW academic teachers can offer their courses conducted fully (including assesment) in an online or hybrid mode to be made accessible via online enrolment procedure to students and doctoral candidates of the 4EU+ Alliance seven partner universities (4EU+ Shared courses). Proposals for shared courses must be submitted by 4th September.
Results of the 4EU+ calls for academic teachers
The results of two calls for academics at member universities of the 4EU+ Alliance were announced on 18th July. The University of Warsaw coordinates three projects selected for funding under SEED4EU+. Four staff members from the UW will visit other universities whereas Prof. Katinka Sewing from Heidelberg University will conduct research at the UW Faculty of History.
4EU+ Alliance welcomes Paris-Panthéon-Assas University as its new member
As of 1st July 2023, the 4EU+ Alliance is joined by the Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, making it the 8th higher education institution on board of the Alliance building One Comprehensive Research-Intensive European University.
4EU+ Governing Board in Heidelberg
The future development of the 4EU+ European University Alliance was the topic of an exchange on 30th June and 1st July among the rectors and presidents of the six partner universities, members of the Management Committee, the General Secretariat and representatives of 4EU+ local offices. The meeting took place at Heidelberg University.
4EU+ workshops on Open Science
What is Open Science? What happens with a scientific publication between the time of writing and the formatted paper published in an academic journal? What are the Creative Commons licenses? These aspects of Open Science will be explored during a series of online workshops organised by the universities of the 4EU+ Alliance, including the University of Warsaw. Registration is open now.
