Cultural workshops for newcomers
The Welcome Point prepared two workshops for the UW international employees who have recently arrived in Poland. One workshop provides practical information on the structure and culture of the University of Warsaw, and another workshop deals with the cultural orientation and basics of the Polish culture. The registration deadline is 23rd March.
The workshop “Metaverse as a promise of a bright future?”
Between 12th and 13th March 2022, the Laboratory of Media Studies UW is organising the online workshop “Metaverse as a promise of a bright future? – social interactions in a world of isolation” during the IEEE Conference on Virtual Reality and 3D User Interfaces. Submissions will be due on 12th January.
4EU+ workshops on Open Science
What is Open Science? What happens with a scientific publication between the time of writing and the formatted paper published in an academic journal? What are the Creative Commons licenses? These aspects of Open Science will be explored during a series of online workshops organised by the universities of the 4EU+ Alliance, including the University of Warsaw. Registration is open now.
API workshop for the employees of the 4EU+ universities
On 25th-27th June, 22 representatives of the 4EU+ Alliance participated in the workshop on the development of innovative didactic materials, tools and techniques. The workshop has been organised within the project entitled ‘’Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning’’.
