“Cultural Orientation in Poland” is a workshop dedicated to all UW international students and doctoral candidates who are willing to learn about Polish history, geography and culture. The event is organised by the Welcome Point of the University of Warsaw.

The workshop will take place on 23rd November at The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw (Dobra 56/66). The event will last from 3 pm to 7.15 pm and cover topics such as:

  • Polish traditions and celebrations
  • national and everyday symbols of Poland
  • life in Warsaw
  • Polish dos and don’ts
  • historical, geographical and cultural contexts.

The registration for the workshop was open until 13th November.

The workshop is financed by the NAWA Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange within the  framework of “Welcome to Poland” programme.
