Welcome Point is organising a workshop on public speaking dedicated to international students and doctoral candidates. The event will take place on 18th April at the UW Board of Student Union. Registration is mandatory.

The second edition of the workshop on the power of public speaking is organised to elevate speaking skills and captivate the audience by international (non-Polish) students and doctoral candidates, who are seasoned speakers and beginners alike.

 

The participants of the workshop will learn how to:

  • understand the structure of effective presentations,
  • formulate the purpose of a speech with clarity,
  • create a comprehensive speech plan for maximum impact,
  • influence the audience using appropriate argumentation strategies,
  • build strong audience engagement from start to finish.

The event will be held on 18th April from 10 am to 5 pm at the University of Warsaw Board of Student Union, at Krakowskie Przedmieście 24.

 

Prior registration is mandatory to attend the meeting. The registration form is available until 8th April.

The workshop is co-funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the “Welcome to Poland” programme, and is dedicated to all international (non-Polish) students and doctoral candidates.
