Welcome Point is organising a series of workshops for international employees of the University of Warsaw. The participants will be able to learn about the university culture and intercultural communication as well as take part in the USOSweb course.

The series of workshops is aimed at international employees, who work as both academic teachers and administration staff. The November schedule is as follows:

  • “Introduction to academic culture at UW”, 7th November at 9 am: the meeting’s aim is to decode important norms and values of the UW’s academic culture,
  • “Intercultural communication and cultural adaptation at UW”, 14th November at 9 am: the meeting focuses on the intercultural communication at the university and possible challenges of cultural adaptation in Poland,
  • “Introduction to the USOSweb”, 20th November at 3.30 pm: the course directed specially to academic teachers on how to use the USOSweb system.

 

The registration for all the workshops is mandatory and takes place via the Kampus Pracownik platform.
