Renewal of the HR Excellence in Research
On 22nd November, the University of Warsaw was acknowledged the renewed HR Excellence in Research. The award is given to institutions which follow strict and high standards of research working conditions, antidiscrimination and transparent recruitment as set in the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Visits to strategic partner institutions
Creating joint scientific teams, jointly applying for grants, co-managing research and teaching centres are example actions under the Programme of visits to strategic partner institutions funded by the IDUB. This action complies with the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, which is implemented by those institutions that have been awarded with the HR Excellence in Research.
Mobility, scholarships and programmes for UW doctoral candidates
As set in the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers, the University of Warsaw supports the scientific careers of its researchers and doctoral candidates. Under the University’s Integrated Development Programme (ZIP) they are offered a number of support and skills development projects that are useful not only in their research work, but also in their professional and social activities.
The new academic year with the HR Excellence in Research
This year the University of Warsaw will be receiving a visit from the European Commission’s experts to evaluate the UW’s actions under the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers. This information campaign is intended to present the HR Excellence in Research initiatives within equality, mobility, training and international funds.
European Commission’s experts visiting the UW
The University of Warsaw is in the renewal phase of the HR Excellence in Research. The European Commission’s team of experts is visiting the UW on 24th October. The assessors will be evaluating the undertaken actions, their influence on the university, as well as their cohesion with the strategy of the University of Warsaw.
