New “Nature Human Behaviour” publication co-authored by the researcher and student from UW
Prof. Michał Bilewicz from the Center for Research on Prejudice at the UW Faculty of Psychology and Olga Kuzawińska, a student of this faculty, are co-authors of the publication, which appeared on 27th January in "Nature Human Behaviour". The work concerns the impact of intergroup contact on support for collective action against discrimination among minorities and majorities.
UW congratulates Olga Tokarczuk
On 9th and 10th December, at the University of Warsaw, there will be an action called “UW congratulates Olga Tokarczuk”. Members of the UW academic community will have an opportunity to congratulate Nobel Prize laureate. The author of “The Books of Jacob” (Księgi Jakubowe) or “Flights” (Bieguni) graduated from the UW Faculty of Psychology.
Christmas with the Psychological Counselling Centre
Psychologists from the UW Psychological Counselling Centre (CPP) will be available for UW students and employees also around Christmas time. Declaration on climate change adopted by the Council of the UW Faculty of Psychology
A declaration on climate change was adopted on 28th May by the Council of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Warsaw. Psychologists appeal to the entire academic community to undertake all possible activities that are aimed at disseminating knowledge on the threats resulting from climate change.
UW with 19 EIT Food grants
UW researchers from the Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, and Faculty of Management will take part in 19 projects which will be funded by the EIT Food. The projects will be carried out in 2019 in the field of education, innovation, business creation, EIT RIS, Cross-KIC Scheme, and communication.
