Research in the face of war

On 11th and 12th March, the University of Warsaw hosted the “European Dialogue” – international debates on war and Europe. The key subject discussed during this year’s meetings was the war in Ukraine and its consequences for the world order as well as scientific research.

On 19th January, Welcome Point organised the Welcome Meeting for international employees of the University of Warsaw. The event included a guided walk around the UW’s Main Campus.

Meeting with the President of Finland at UW

On 21st November, the President of the Republic of Finland, Sauli Niinistö, visited the University of Warsaw. Welcome Point events for international students

Welcome Point organised two meetings for international students on safety issues and personal growth. The events will take place on 6th and 7th December on the UW Main Campus.

Meetings on the legalisation of stay in Poland

Welcome Point UW is organising three informational meetings on legal issues, which concern residence in Poland for students and doctoral candidates. The events will be held on 20th, 28th and 30th November on the UW Main Campus.

Visit of the Finnish President to UW

On 21st November, a meeting with the President of Finland, Sauli Niinistö took place in the Column Hall of the UW Faculty of History on the Main Campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście.

Multicultural meetings about Poland

The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw was organising Multicultural Meetings about Poland for international students. The participants could learn the basics of Polish language and become familiar with national folk customs and traditions.
