A two-day visit to Georgia by a delegation from the University of Warsaw ended on 9th February. Representatives of the UW held meetings at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Gori State Teaching University.

On 30th November, the University of Warsaw hosted a meeting with representatives of British universities, government agencies and the British Embassy. One of the main objectives of the British delegation’s stay in Poland was to establish cooperation in teaching and research with Polish universities.

On 22nd September, Sun Linjang, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Poland, visited the University of Warsaw. “We want to develop cooperation not only in the field of sinology, but also in economic and social sciences. This is a huge development prospect for us,” Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector, said.
