A two-day visit to Georgia by a delegation from the University of Warsaw ended on 9th February. Representatives of the UW held meetings at the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the Gori State Teaching University.

From 8th to 9th February, a delegation from the University of Warsaw, consisting of the deans of the Faculty of History and the Faculty of Education, and the representatives of the UW’s Centre for East European Studies and the Faculty of Law and Administration, visited Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and Gori State University. During the meetings, collaboration agreements were signed.

 

The visit took place during the celebration of the 106th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. The representatives of the University of Warsaw and the two Georgian universities took part in working meetings on the expansion and development of existing cooperation as well as the opportunities presented by the conclusion of new agreements. The UW delegation also met with a group of students from the University of Gori as part of the activities organised by the University of Warsaw Centre, which operates there.
