“Tahar ben Jelloun’s tales combine the Eastern tradition of storytelling with the Western richness of Charles Perrault’s fairy tales. The hybridity of the collection corresponds to the hybridised identities of contemporary people in a globalised reality,” Dr Marta Widy-Behiesse, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at the Faculty of Oriental Studies, says in the next “Read with the UW” episode.

On 12th October, an ordinance from the University of Warsaw Library concerning the establishment of the Medical Library came into force. The first branch of the University of Warsaw Library will provide the employees and students of the UW’s Faculty of Medicine with access to library materials and resources necessary to support scientific research and the teaching process.
