Eager to start or continue your adventure with the Polish language and culture? From 3rd to 28th August, the UW Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners “Polonicum” offers its summer course. This year the course will be conducted online. The application deadline is 15th July.

It is the 65th edition of the “Polonicum” summer course. A lot of people from all around the world take part in it each year. 

 

“Polonicum” is the oldest centre for teaching Polish as a foreign language in Poland. The Centre extends its offer to those who are interested in learning the Polish language and culture – students, doctoral candidates, but also people not related to academia. The “Polonicum” teachers are certified in teaching Polish as a foreign language and experienced in teaching in a multicultural environment.

 

This year, there will be two options to choose from basic (88 hours of language and culture programme/language classes that end with an exam) and full (88 hours of language programme that end with an exam and 15 hours of culture programme). Both will be conducted in an online format. All levels of language proficiency will be provided. Depending on the selected course option, one will be able to obtain 4 or 5 ECTS credits.

 

Groups of students comprise 6-8 people. The timetable of lessons will suit the participants’ places of residence.
