International students at the University of Warsaw will have an opportunity to take part in the series of online meetings concerning the very beginning of their stay in Warsaw and study at UW. During the events participants will be introduced to the basic information about the university, students rights, security and library services.
The UW Welcome Point is organising Online Welcome Week during which international students will be able to obtain the most important information about the University of Warsaw and its structure, the opportunities that await them, aspects related to security and general information on library use.
Welcome Days will be held on 6th and 7th October from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (in Polish and English respectively). The representatives of UW will present key information about the university, its units and the opportunities that students can take advantage of. In addition to the Welcome Days, there will also be:
- Student Rights Meeting – conducted by the UW Students’ Union (8th October, 4 p.m.; 9th October, 12 p.m.);
- Civic Orientation – Security Aspects – conducted by the City of Warsaw (8th October, 2 p.m.);
- Library Training – conducted by the University of Warsaw Library (9th October, 10 a.m.).
