A mobile version of USOS for students and employees of the University of Warsaw, the Mobile USOS UW, is already in the Google Play Store. The application is available in the Polish and English language versions, and it is free.

USOS is the University Study System used at many universities in Poland. Each university has its own version of the Mobile USOS. UW students and employees can download the application for their smartphones.

The application consists of several modules. Users can find the most important information about the University of Warsaw and its authorities. Moreover, students can see their class schedules, class groups, grades, and fill in surveys. Users can send messages to participants of one or many class groups. In the “My ID cards” module students, doctoral students and employees can see their electronic ID cards. The “My eID” module includes information about PESEL, index, ELS/ELD/ ELP etc. as QR code and barcodes. The “USOSmail” module enables students to get messages from authorised people, e.g. deans and student section employees. Thanks to Google maps, users of the application are able to easily find locations of the UW buildings.

The Mobile USOS application was created by the employees of the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics. It is part of the “e-UW – development of e-services of the University of Warsaw related to education” project, which is co-financed from the funds of the Regional Operational Program Masovia Voivodeship 2014-2020. The project is being implemented in 2016-2019.
