The third edition of “Miasteczko na styku kultur – Cultural Hot Spot” took place on 18th May. During the event the participants had a chance to meet the representatives of several cultures, take part in calligraphy workshops, watch artistic performances and taste dishes from distant corners of the world. 

3.7 thousand students from outside Poland study at the University of Warsaw. Most of them come from Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, China and Turkey. The Cultural Hot Spot is an opportunity to present the cultures of their countries.

The event was hold on 18th May on the UW campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście street. It was organised by: the UW Students’ Union Board, the Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw, Welcome Point, the Students’ Union of the UW Faculty of Oriental Studies and the Erasmus Student Network UW.
