On 25th-27th June, 22 representatives of the 4EU+ Alliance participated in the workshop on the development of innovative didactic materials, tools and techniques. The workshop has been organised within the project entitled ‘’Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning’’.

Employees of four universities of 4EU+: the University of Warsaw, Charles University in Prague, Heidelberg University and Sorbonne University took part in the workshop on innovations in learning and teaching. Participants discussed, e.g. the fundamentals of e-learning, designing courses with the ABCD method (focused on achieving planned learning outcomes), educational testing with the use of psychometric analysis, research based teaching and learning across the disciplines. Sessions were led by Monika Galbarczyk and Dr. Bartłomiej Michałowicz from the Digital Competence Centre of UW, Prof. Bernold Hasenknopf and Dr. Vassiliki Michou from Sorbonne University, Dr. Martin Vejrazka and Dr. Cestmir Stuka from Charles University in Prague, Petra Eggensperger and Dr. Tobias Vahlpahl from Heidelberg University.

 

4EU+ is a consortium working on developing a new quality of cooperation in research, innovation, education and services and to establish an appropriate platform ensuring free circulation of students, faculty, staff, ideas and sharing of infrastructures. On 26th June, 4EU+ Alliance was selected for funding in the first pilot ‘European Universities’ call for proposals, launched as part of the 2019 Erasmus+ programme.

 

The workshop on innovative didactic materials, tools and techniques was held from 25th to 27th June in the Old Library building on the UW main campus. It has been organised within the project ’’Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning” (API), sponsored by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, coordinated by the University of Warsaw – International Relations Office and Digital Competence Centre.
