Students interested in pursuing their academic career, doctoral students and post-docs can take an international online survey on the mobility behaviour of international researchers. It will be open until 15th June.

The survey aims to identify information needs and decision behaviour of researchers regarding their choice of higher education or research institutes abroad.

This survey is targeted at those who are currently in one of the following career stages:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree students who are interested in pursuing an academic career,
  • doctoral students,
  • post-doc researchers (e.g. associate professors, research fellows, research assistants, lecturers etc.).

The results can potentially help universities and research institutes around the world gain a better understanding of the situation of international researchers and respond more efficiently to their concerns.

Answering the survey questions will take about 15 minutes. You can find it here.

The survey is an initiative of, among others, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The findings of the survey will be published at the beginning of 2019.
