UW students could take part in a workshop on intercultural communication. The event, organised by the UW Volunteer Centre, was held on 19th October.

The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw prepared a workshop regarding the field of intercultural communication.

Participants had a chance to talk to Polish and Spanish experts: Katarzyna Kucharska from the UW Volunteer Centre and Dr Andrea Martínez Celis from Rey Juan Carlos University. The experts answered questions regarding, among others, the communication in culturally diverse teams and the culture’s influence on the language.

The meeting was open to all students of the University of Warsaw.

Participants were acquainted with the theories concerning intercultural communication, useful in navigating life, studies, and work in a culturally diverse environment.
