International students and doctoral candidates of the University of Warsaw could join the meetings concerning the legalisation of residence in Poland. The events were held on 8th May (on-site) and 14th May (online). The application deadlines were 6th and 10th May accordingly.

The Welcome Point team organised two meetings regarding the legalisation of stay in May. The events were open to all international students and doctoral candidates from the University of Warsaw.

 

The meetings were conducted by Dr Łukasz Wieczorek, who coordinates legal issues concerning residence in Poland for students and doctoral candidates in the Welcome Point. This May edition was held both in person (8th May at 3 pm in the UW Old Library building) and online (14th May at 3 pm).

The programme of the meetings includes:

  • legalisation of residence in Poland (visa, permanent residence permit),
  • the procedure of application for a residence permit,
  • Polish descent and Pole’s Card holders rights.
