Charles University in Prague is hosting in July the 4EU+ Summer School devoted to the research in oncology and its funding. The UW students (graduates of 1st cycle studies at least) and doctoral candidates interested in the topic can submit the application for the summer school by 15th May 2023.
The second edition of the 4EU+ Against Cancer: Summer School will begin on 2nd July. The main topics discussed during the event will be: translational and clinical research in oncology, basics of cancer treatments, bioinformatics, computational biology and drug development.
The event organised by Charles University in Prague is addressed to the graduates of at least 1st cycle of studies and doctoral candidates interested in such topics as oncology, medicine, biotechnology and chemistry, who would like to continue their studies or research in those fields.
During the summer school, researchers and teachers from the universities of the 4EU+ Alliance (Charles University, Heidelberg University, Sorbonne University, University of Milan, University of Warsaw, University of Copenhagen and University of Geneva) will give lectures and meet students.
The application for the 4EU+ Against Cancer: Summer School, containing the CV and motivation letter, can be submitted till 15th May 2023. The courses of the summer school will be held from 2nd to 5th July in Mariánské Lázně, Czech Republic.
4EU+ Against Cancer is part of the programme “Urban Health and Demographic Change” (Flagship 1). The second edition of the summer school will be organised under the grants for educational initiatives in oncology, given to the following partners of the project:
- Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, the University of Warsaw,
- Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris (AP-HIP), Sorbonne University,
- Czech Academy of Sciences (CESNET) and Charles University in Prague.
