Welcome Point is organising a meeting for new international employees of the University of Warsaw that will be held on 24th October at noon in the Old Library building. The participants will be introduced to the structure and functioning of the University as well as the most important formalities related to living in Warsaw.
The main aim of the event is to provide new employees with crucial information about the university’s structure and functioning and facilitate their first steps in Poland.
The meeting will take place on 24th October between 12 pm and 3:30 pm in the Old Library building on the main campus of the UW. In the second part of the event, at 2:15 pm, the participants will also have an opportunity to join the campus walk and hear intriguing stories concerning both old and new buildings of the UW. The walk will be guided by Dr Krzysztof Mordyński, a historian and custodian at the Museum of the University of Warsaw.
Registration via the Kampus Employee (Kampus Pracownik) platform is required to take part in the meeting. One should log in with their CAS account and click the button zapisz mnie (enrol me) at the bottom of the page. Registration will close on 20 October at 11:55 pm.
