On 21st August, a lecture by the President of Portugal, Professor Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, will be held in the Column Hall of the UW Faculty of History. Registration is required.

Prof. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa is a law graduate. He obtained a doctorate in legal and political sciences in 1984, after which he became a professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. Throughout his career, he has taught at various educational institutions in Portugal and abroad, and has worked with civic institutions and associations while being active in the social sector. He became the President of the Portuguese Republic in 2016. After five years, he was elected for the second term.

Due to the high interest in the event, its location has been changed. Those who have applied for the participation in the lecture and have received a confirmation of their application are invited to the Column Hall of the UW Faculty of History on the Main Campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście 26/28.

Earlier arrival is highly recommended, preferably at 2.30 pm.

Attendees are obliged to have their ID cards.
