On 11th October, the UW authorities hosted a meeting with the representatives of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. During the event, the topic of the ongoing collaboration between the universities and future projects was discussed.
“Our cooperation with the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz has lasted 35 years. We have very strong relations since then,” Prof. Sambor Grucza, the UW Vice-Rector for Cooperation and Human Resources, said.
On 11th October, the representatives of the German university met with the authorities of the University of Warsaw. The conversation was focused on the ongoing cooperation between the universities in such fields as Slavic studies, history and archaeology. The possibility of new common projects was also discussed.
The delegation from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz included Prof. Stephan Jolie, the Vice President for Learning and Teaching, and Janina Tomala-Steinhauer from the International Relations Office.
