The Welcome Point pavilion is once again open on the Main Campus, where international students, doctoral candidates, and employees can receive practical advice on academic life. New international students can also take part in orientation sessions at the end of September.

 

As every year, the UW will host orientation sessions for new long-term international students, organised by Welcome Point. Participants will be able to find out more about academic life, administrative procedures, etc. Welcome Days will take place in person and will be held:

 

  •  in English: 29th September, 10.30 am;
  •  in Polish: 30th September, 10.30 am.
Welcome Point pavilion

The Welcome Point Pavilion is open on the UW’s Main Campus until 16th October. It is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm. International students can obtain support there regarding studying and working at the University of Warsaw, as well as everyday life in Warsaw, including:

 

  •  formalities relating to the university, the USOS system, course registration, the eduroam Wi-Fi network and student ID cards;
  •  accommodation and student halls of residence;
  •  healthcare and legalising your stay in Poland;
  •  finding your way around the UW campuses and Warsaw;
  •  language courses, sports activities and other opportunities offered by the UW;
  •  contacting the relevant university administrative departments;
  •  day-to-day matters relating to your studies and life in Poland.
