The Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange published the results of the next edition of the “Welcome to Poland” programme. Among the winning projects, two were submitted by the University of Warsaw.
The objective of the “Welcome to Poland” programme is to support the internationalisation of Polish higher education and science institutions by financing projects related to the admission of foreign students and staff. During this year’s edition of the programme, two proposals from the UW were selected.
The first project was prepared by the UW’s Faculty of Economic Sciences. “Let’s make together Economics in Warsaw 2.0” is an initiative aiming at improving the international position of the Faculty. It is focused on welcoming and assisting exchange students and doctoral candidates at the unit.
“Welcome Point – Better Together” is an initiative of the Welcome Point (within the UW’s Office of Academic and Student Affairs). As part of the project, various workshops and information sessions will be organised for the UW academic community, e.g. activities integrating Polish and foreign students living in student residence halls.
