On 22nd November, a meeting between the UW authorities and a delegation of researchers from Azerbaijan, France and Türkiye was held. The main topic of the conversation was strengthening of the cooperation between the institutions in terms of research and education.

On the initiative of the UW’s Centre for Europe, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, met with representatives of Turkish, Azerbaijani and French universities.

 

The main topic of discussion was research and educational cooperation around such issues as migration, assimilation, cultural differences, European and energetic security. The possibility of submitting joint research projects to the European Commission and an exchange programme for visiting professors were other subjects on the agenda.

 

The meeting was attended by the representatives of Marmara University in Istanbul, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in Baku, National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilisations (INALCO) in Paris, Gazi University in Ankara and the Centre for Europe, University of Warsaw.
