Welcome Point UW is organising the 2nd Edition of Integration Meetings for UW Employees which is devoted to theatre improvisation. The workshops will run until the end of May and are organised in collaboration with the School of Impro and the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners “Polonicum”.

“Become a Pro: Improve at IMPROV” is a series of theatre improvisation workshops dedicated to both international and Polish employees of the University of Warsaw. The classes are scheduled for ten meetings between 13th March and 29th May and will last from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm.

 

The workshops will be held on Thursdays:

 

  • 13th, 20th, 27th March;
  • 3rd, 10th, 24th April;
  • 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th May.

The classes will take place on the UW’s Main Campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście 32a on the -1 floor.

 

The aims of the classes include:

 

  • Integrating international and Polish employees,
  • Improving English/ Polish language skills,
  • Learning from professionals from Poland’s longest-running improv institution,
  • Improving communication skills in a multicultural environment,
  • Developing creativity, quick thinking, and self-expression skills.

The B1 level of English is required to take part in the workshops.

 

Participants can join at any point in the series but they are asked to first register via the Google form.
