The University of Warsaw has opened the second round of applications for the Foundation Year 2026/2027 programme. Candidates may apply until 19th August.

The Foundation Year is a one-year preparatory programme designed for international candidates whose English proficiency is below the B2 level required for admission to English-taught degree programmes. The course helps participants improve their English skills, gain academic preparation in their chosen field, and successfully transition to undergraduate or graduate studies at the University of Warsaw.

 

The programme includes:

  • intensive English language classes (450 hours);
  • Polish language course (120 hours);
  • subject-specific academic preparation;
  • support throughout the admission process.

Successful completion of the Foundation Year guarantees admission to a selected English-taught degree programme at the University of Warsaw.
