On 17th May, the University of Warsaw will host its annual Cultural Hot Spot festival. The event is a chance for the University community to learn about culture and traditions of the countries that UW international students come from.

The Cultural Hot Spot festival aims at familiarising the UW community with some of the traditions of the international students of the University of Warsaw. Most of them come from Ukraine, Belarus, China, Türkiye, and Azerbaijan. The programme of the festival includes a range of activities from cultural performances to engaging calligraphy workshops. The attendees will have the chance to experience firsthand the customs and traditions of different nations.

The fourth edition of the event is held on 17th May from 11 am to 5 pm on the UW Campus at Krakowskie Przedmieście.

The organisers of the Cultural Hot Spot festival are the International Cooperation Commission of The UW Students’ Union’s Board, Welcome Point, The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw, and The Students’ Union of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.
