On 30th September, new students from abroad attended a meeting that began their academic year 2019/2020.

The meeting was open by Prof. Maciej Duszczyk, Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations, who delivered a welcome speech. Freshers got to know the essential information on UW (what? where? who?), the 4EU+ Alliance, where to look for support, and students’ rights and obligations. The event was organised by the UW Welcome Point.

To make the meeting more efficient, the organisers divided the participants into two groups. At 10:00 am in the Auditorium Maximum building (hall “C”), there was a meeting for those students who speak English. Later, at 12:30 in the Auditorium Maximum building (hall “C”), there was another meeting conducted in Polish.
