„Erasmus Mundus opens your minds” is the title of the scientific conference which will take place on 14th April at 9.00 at the University of Warsaw.

 

Erasmus Mundus Action 2 enhances academic cooperation and exchanges of students and academics, contributing to the socio-economic development of non-EU countries targeted by EU external cooperation policy.

 

The aim of that conference is to present the importance of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 for the scientific achievements of scholarships holders – students and academic teachers who have taken part in that mobility programme.

 

An opening address will be delivered by Prof. Alojzy Nowak – Vice-Rector for Research and Liaison. The conference consists of 4 sessions:

 

  • 1st session: Education (10.00-11.30) – moderated by Dr. Renata Siuda-Ambroziak (the Institute of Americas and Europe, UW)
  • 2nd session: Science (11.30-12.30) – moderated by Dr. Anna Trykozko (the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling, UW)
  • 3rd session: Eastern Europe (13.00-14.00) – moderated by Dr. Aneta Afelt (the Faculty of Geography and Regional Studies, UW)
  • 4th session: Social and Political Studies (14.15-16.00) – moderated by Dr. Bartłomiej Zdaniuk (the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science)

 

Among speakers are students and academic teachers from Bangladesh, India, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Serbia and Yemen.
