The University of Warsaw hosted the kick-off meeting of the “Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning” (API) project which aims to increase mobility and develop durable solutions in the area of scientific cooperation. The 4EU Alliance universities are the UW partners in the project.

“Academic Partnership for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (API)” is one of 30 projects which received funding from the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). The project was selected within the International Academic Partnership Programme. UW works together with the universities that belong to the 4EU Alliance: the Charles University, Sorbonne University and Heidelberg University.

In the meeting, representatives of the Sorbonne University, Charles University and UW (International Relations Office, Digital Competence Centre, UW Incubator, and Office for International Research and Liaison), discussed ideas of future activities and made arrangements. The whole project is coordinated by the UW International Relations Office.

The 4EU universities will support innovative student-centred teaching and learning environment at the partner universities by creating state-of-the-art educational materials, tools and techniques. Also, they will develop specialized and creative exchange programmes (blended forms) for students and staff (academic and administrative). One of the main goals of the collaboration is to equip the graduates with competences and critical skills necessary for functioning in a complex, mobile, heterogeneous, multicultural, multilingual and digitalized world.

API project started on1st December and will be carried out until 30th November 2020. For the realisation of API, UW received approx. 214 000 EUR.
