In the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2026, the University of Warsaw ranked 113th, achieving the best result among universities in Poland.

Quacquarelli Symonds has published a new version of its university rankings, comparing academic institutions in Europe. The ranking covers 958 academic institutions, including thirty-nine universities from Poland.

 

The following assessment criteria were used for the ranking: academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per paper, papers per faculty, international research network, employment outcomes, faculty student ratio, international faculty ratio, inbound exchange student ratio, outbound exchange student ratio, sustainability score.

 

In the current ranking of the European universities, the University of Warsaw took 113th place overall, and 1st in Poland.

 

The University of Oxford is the best university in Europe according to this ranking. ETH Zurich is ranked second and, tied for third place Imperial College London and University College London.
