„We live in very turbulent times, but also in times of great opportunities. I believe that, together, we can reduce the uncertainty of tomorrow – also in the higher education and science sectors – by collaborating on the improvement of new technologies,” says Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, Rector of the University of Warsaw, who will open a conference on the development of higher education at the University of Warsaw on 16th October. The event is co-organised by the European Investment Bank.

Stimulating innovation, changes in higher education and research in the European Union, innovative university development strategies and the use of technology to create better learning spaces. These are the main topics of the conference co-organised by the University of Warsaw and the European Investment Bank (EIB), which – as the European Union’s development bank – supports innovation, digitalisation, and the development of human capital, including the modernisation and innovation of universities and research institutes in Poland.

The event will take place on 16th October at the Kazimierzowski Palace on the University of Warsaw campus on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street.
