More than 400 competitors took part in this year’s edition.

Participants in the IMC competition had 10 tasks to solve over two days, prepared by a jury chaired by Prof. John Jayne from University College London. Individual and team prizes were awarded on the basis of the points earned by the competitors.

The competition was hosted by the American University in Blagoevgrad. The IMC has been organised since 1994. Winners of the competition include winners of the prestigious Fields Medal awarded to outstanding young mathematicians.
