The project QM3 – Quantum Multi-Modal Microscopy, coordinated by Dr Radek Łapkiewcz from the UW’s Faculty of Physics, was selected for funding in the international QuantERA Call 2023.

In the fourth edition of the QuantERA Call for international quantum technology research projects, funding was awarded to twenty-one projects, including eight from Poland. One of them is QM3 Quantum Multi-Modal Microscopy, coordinated by Dr Radek Łapkiewicz from the Faculty of Physics, the University of Warsaw. The researcher will collaborate with scientists from France, Germany and Switzerland.

 

Dr Łapkiewicz will also be involved in the project entitled EXTRASENS – Colour centres in diamond nanoneedles for intra- and EXTRA-cellular quantum SENSing, which is carried out in cooperation with researchers from the Czech Republic, Finland, Lithuania and Germany.

 

The QuantERA programme is a network of forty-one public Research Funding Organisations coordinated by the Polish National Science Centre.
