“The UW students and lecturer held in Nigeria are in good shape. I am receiving information on their situation on an ongoing basis. We have been in touch with the people preparing their safe return to the country,” stressed Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw.

The University of Warsaw authorities are working in cooperation with the authorities of Bayero University Kano, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, consular services and other institutions, while also remaining in contact with the families of the detained students.
