Welcome Point is organising a series of events for newly admitted international students of the University of Warsaw. Participants will learn about our campus life and get practical information about their stay in Poland. The meetings are held on 8th and 13th August, and 5th September. Registration is required.

To help new international students of the University of Warsaw prepare their arrival and ensure their smooth transition, the UW Welcome Point is organising the “Pre-Welcome Days”.

 

The event has been specifically designed to provide essential information and guidance to newly admitted international students before they embark on their studies. The sessions will be held online, and will be conducted in English to ensure effective communication for all participants.

 

During the Pre-Welcome Days, participants can expect to receive valuable insights and information on the following key topics:

  • preparing for an arrival in Poland: essential steps to take before departing for Poland, including travel arrangements, required documents, and useful tips to ease a transition;
  • the UW’s halls of residence: various residence options offered by the University of Warsaw, application procedures for accommodation pursuit;
  • legalisation of stay and visa issues: detailed information about legal requirements and procedures for obtaining necessary visas, ensuring a legal status in Poland.

Online meetings are held on 8th August (Thursday), 13th August (Tuesday), and 5th September (Thursday), at 12 pm.
