Those interested in pursuing their doctoral education can take part in the UW Doctoral Schools Open Day. The event is held on 18th March online. Prior registration is required.

The UW Doctoral Schools Open Day is intended for those who are eager to take up further doctoral education at the University of Warsaw. UW doctoral candidates can pursue their education in four doctoral schools: the Doctoral School of Humanities, the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences, and the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School.

During the event candidates will be presented recruitment procedures and the educational offer of the doctoral schools. The meeting will start at 10:00 on 18th March. It will be livestreamed in Polish and English.

PhD at the UW

The 2023/2024 recruitment for the UW doctoral schools covers 330 places in 3 fields of science and 24 disciplines of science. Starting the 1st October doctoral candidates will be taught according to the new programme. The programme emerged due to the joint discussion on the scientific and doctoral grounds to provide better support for doctoral candidates in their development.

The IRK registration of doctoral candidates will be available in May and June. Interviews and examinations will be conducted in July. Detailed information on the schedule of the recruitment procedures will be made public in the mid-March.
