Students, doctoral candidates, and university employees can count on psychological and legal support, including advice on resolving conflicts and disputes. The University of Warsaw maintains an equality website: https://rownowazni.uw.edu.pl/en/. The equality initiatives implemented by the University of Warsaw in2024 focused on the continued implementation of the Gender Equality Plan for the University of Warsaw, adopted in August 2020. This is the first document of its kind for a university in Poland, created by the Chief Equality Specialist and the Academic Ombudsman based on research findings, solutions used at universities abroad, and a series of internal consultations and expert reviews. In 2024, the Rector of the University of Warsaw issued a regulation on policies against discrimination, mobbing, and other undesirable behaviours, which comprehensively addresses issues related to counteracting unacceptable behaviours at the University of Warsaw (i.e., sexual harassment, unequal treatment, mobbing, and other undesirable behaviours).
