The President of the Republic of Poland, Dr Karol Nawrocki, has posthumously awarded the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta to Prof. Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk – Dean of the UW’s Faculty of Political Science and International Studies.

The honour was awarded for outstanding achievements in academic and research work in the field of international relations, as well as for her teaching and organisational activities.

On behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland, Dariusz Dudek, an adviser to the President, presented the Officer’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta to the immediate family of Prof. Katarzyna Kołodziejczyk. The honour was presented during the funeral service, held on 11th June at St Catherine’s Church in Służew, Warsaw.
