On 6th February, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, hosted the Turkish delegation. The discussion was referring to the possible broadening of the didactic collaboration and academic exchange within exact subjects in particular. The importance of understanding the culture in international relation was also related.

On 6th February, the University of Warsaw hosted the Turkish delegation, which included Rauf Alp Denktaş, Turkey’s Ambassador to Poland, Rahime İğdeci Abdel Hamid Hosny, the First Secretary, and Embassy Education Advisor Mehmetali Akdağ.

 

The main topic of the discussion was the broadening of the collaboration between the Turkish universities in students and academics’ mobility as well as promoting the culture awareness and further didactic initiatives.

 

“Students of the University of Warsaw are sheerly interested in studies at Turkish universities, learning the culture, customs and tradition of that country. The awareness of the culture is crucial to build and develop positive relations both in studying and working,” Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector, said.

 

As the Rector of the University of Warsaw emphasised: “Students shape our future. Therefore, it is essential to intensify the academic mobility within exact sciences like finances, economics, AI in medicine and nanotechnology. The University is open towards the collaboration with academic institution from Türkiye”.
