On 8th June, the promotion ceremony of 274 new doctors was held at the University of Warsaw Library Gardens. During the event, congratulations were also given to postdocs who obtained their degrees in 2023.

In 2023, 274 people were awarded doctoral degrees and 29 became postdoctoral fellows.

During the promotion ceremony, Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the Rector of the University of Warsaw, congratulated all those awarded, and thanked their supervisors and representatives of the scientific councils of the disciplines for the research guidance.

The event was also attended by the members of the Rector’s team, deans, directors of Doctoral Schools, and families of the awarded.
