On 30th January the UW Rector and representatives of Harvard Medical School discussed the cooperation in research and education between Harvard University and the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Warsaw.

Prof. Alojzy Z. Nowak, the UW Rector, met the representatives of Harvard Medical School on the 30th January. On behalf of the American university, the meeting was attended by Dr Ajay K. Singh, Senior Associate Dean for Postgraduate Medical Education, and Will Straughn, Director for Business Development of Postgraduate Medical Education. In the meeting also took part Dr Radosław Sierpiński, the President of the Medical Research Agency, Prof. Sławomir Żółtek, the UW Vice-Rector for Students and Quality of Teaching, and Robert Grey, Acting Chancellor of the University of Warsaw.

The representatives of the University of Warsaw and Harvard University discussed joint initiatives in research and didactics as well as possible cooperation in medical education at the UW Faculty of Medicine.
