We publish recommendations of Prof. Jolanta Choińska-Mika, the UW Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Teaching regarding procedures for preventing the spread of viral infections.
Regarding procedures, introduced by the heads of UW educational units preventing the spread of viral infections please take into account additional recommendations:
- In case of a student being under quarantine, who came back from the areas affected by a coronavirus (from 16th February), a lecturer delivering courses, is required to allow the student to use materials processed during classes and to take part in consultations by e-mail or Skype during the forced period of absence.
- A student, who is under quarantine, and a student who does not attend classes amid cold symptoms (runny nose, cough, etc.) their absence will be excused up to 2 weeks, after informing the lecturer or head of the teaching unit about their health state. If the absence will be longer than this period, one needs to provide sick leave.
