Welcome Point is organising the Introduction to the academic culture at UW workshop for international employees. The meeting will be held on 28th November in the Old Library building on the UW main campus.
New employees of the University of Warsaw can take part in the workshop regarding the academic culture. It will be led by Dr Aleksanda Winiarska from the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences and Resocialisation.
Participants will have an opportunity to:
- decode some important values, norms and expectations at the UW;
- explore differences and similarities in academic cultures;
- find out what to expect in their everyday work at the UW;
- discuss the (potential) challenges to adaptation;
- develop some solutions and good practices.
