On 25th November, the representatives of Sun Yat-Sen University met with the authorities of UW faculties, and scientists and administrative staff. They discussed future collaboration.

Possibilities of scientific collaboration, as well as student and scholar international exchange between UW and SYSU, were among the main topics discussed during the meeting. Both universities would like to work together in fields such as natural sciences, chemistry, informatics, linguistics, and translation studies.

Sun Yat-Sen University is one of the leading Chinese universities. It is amongst the top ten universities in China. According to the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2019 (ARWU), it is ranked 101-150.
