The Canadian International Rover Challenge (CIRC) is a rover competition dedicated to student design teams from all around the world. It is hosted by the Canadian Space Technology Advancement Group (CSTAG).
12 student teams participated in this year’s competition. They competed in five scored tasks during the event. The tasks included crash site forensics, equipment servicing, surface sampling, search and rescue, traversal and transport.
The team from the University of Warsaw was represented by students from the UW faculties: Physics; Geology, Mathematics, Informatics and Mechanics, and College of Inter-Faculty Individual Studies in Mathematics and Natural Sciences (MISMaP): Mateusz Raczyński, Kacper Oreszczuk, Fryderyk Gromadka, Michał Wiatrowski, Wiktor Kraśnicki, and Piotr Putyło.
