A new website of the Welcome Point, the central information service point for international students who start their education at the UW, has been launched. On 15th September until the end of October, WP will be located on the main campus of UW.
The Welcome Point is mostly dedicated to students from abroad both who come to the UW to study one semester and those who pursue the whole cycle of studies. The most important and useful information about studies at the University of Warsaw and living in Poland is available on the WP website – www.welcome.uw.edu.pl
The website is divided into four sections: “before you arrive”, “when you arrive”, “during your stay”, and “at the end of your stay”. In each of them, one can find relevant and updated information regarding various university matters, e.g. required documents, tuition fees, student e-mail account, electronic student card, course registration, university library, learning Polish or sports and leisure. Also, international students can find key information about living in Warsaw, among others, transportation, living costs as well as cultural, sports and tourists activities.
WP cooperates closely with the Admissions Office, the International Relations Office, the Office for Student Affairs and other University units.
At the beginning of the upcoming academic year, from 15th September until the end of October, the WP office will be located on the main campus. It will be open from Monday to Friday, 9.30 am – 4.30 pm.
